Welcome to Eastern Idaho's Web Source for Information on the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life!

WE NEED YOU!

The American Cancer Society is a volunteer driven organization and we NEED people like you to volunteer!  Fundraising efforts of volunteers across the nation provide local services to cancer patients and survivors as well as funding research to find a cure for this horrible disease.  THIRTY-EIGHT American Cancer Society researchers have won the nobel prize inventing life saving treatments such as Tamoxifen and Gleevec

Relay For Life is about a community that takes up the fight against cancer.  It is a way to celebrate survivors and honor those who have lost their battle.  WON'T YOU JOIN US?  This year there will be a Relay in Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Blackfoot and St. Anthony so where ever you live in Eastern Idaho RELAY FOR LIFE NEEDS YOU!  Call 523-1153 today to join the fight!

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity.  It is a unique activity offering everyone in our community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.  Teams of 10-15 people camp out overnight at a local high school and take turns walking around the track.  Each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times during the event.  Those team members who are physically unable to walk may "rock out" in a rocking chair, or use their wheel chair to go around the track!

Survivors Ready For The First Lap of Bonneville County's 2004 Relay

Cancer survivors show what strength and courage look like during the Survivor's Victory lap.  Cancer survivorship is real -- we are making progress in the battle against cancer thanks to the support of Relay's like ours.
